ear piercing.. what are your thoughts??

I personally wouldn't do it, because I'd be terrified the earring would get caught on clothing or a blanket (think knits) and end up damaging the earlobe. I see 1yr olds with little gold hoop earrings all the time and just want to cringe. If you do them, stick with small studs for safety.

I waited until my daughter asked. She was 3. We were in WalMart and she was admiring the earrings and she asked for some. I explained to her what it entailed, and she STILL wanted do it. She didn't even cry, not once.
