Belly measuring big UPDATE!!
I went to the OB on Friday. I was 21 weeks that day. The doctor measured my belly at 25 weeks. He said he wants an ultrasound on weds. Do you think he will move my dates or just a big baby?? I do have big babies my sons were 10 lbs 4 oz each. This my first baby after gastric bypass. I have lost weight and have not gain anything but my ob is not worried about that since my belly is measuring big. He said I am doing something right for my belly to be measuring 4 weeks ahead.
UPDATE
My OB said I am just going to have a big baby again. He is not worried about anything else which is good. We are having a little GIRL!!! I am so happy cuz we have two boys already. My sons are so happy to have a little sister!!! Thank you Ladies for everything!!!

When I was pregnant with my daughter it was because of a medical condition. Can't remember the exact name. It was because I had too much amniotic fluid. This puts you at a risk for preterm labor because your body thinks its further along than it is. If you have this they monitor you very closely for the remainder of your pregnancy to make sure you are ok. It becomes a high risk pregnancy. they will try and scare you and say that people with this condition may also be at a higher risk for having something wrong with the baby. Do not stress over this. My daughter was perfectly healthy and I did not give birth to her early. In fact they had to induce me because I was over due. 6 years later she is still perfectly healthy.
at one point during this pregnancy I was measuring 4 weeks bigger than my gestational date but it adjusted itself in the end. Had an ultrasound last wednesday to measure "estimated fetal weight" and the baby is approx 7 lbs which is normal for 38 weeks gestation.. I had hoped that I might go early but we're 5 days or so to my EDD and there is no sign that Wee Man is wanting to come out! I'm just glad though that I'll be delivering a normal birthweight baby as I too was initially not gaining any or much weight during the first and second trimester..
Best of luck to you!

I have been measuring about 2 weeks ahead the whole pregnancy as has my little girl. They have not moved my due date though. They made sure with several different tests that I do not have gestational diabetes. Since you have had large babies before, I would assume that's probably what's going on this time too. Make sure you let us know after your appt. on Wed.

Our baby always measured big and our doctor even said he was going to be a big baby. I had him on Friday and he was 7 pounds, 14 oz. so you never know. That is just an estimate...
I always measured 5 weeks ahead of schedule and had my baby at 39 1/2 weeks.
This was also my first baby after gastric bypass... totally different from my first.
