How uch weight loss is too much?
I am 6 weeks pregnant. 21 months post RNY . My RNY wasn't very successful for me and I only lost about 90 pounds.
That being said I have lost 12 pounds so far being pregnant.
I'm not TRYING to lose. I'm not dehydrated or anything. Getting plenty of fluids. Not vomiting very often.
I am exercising 2-3 days a week. Just walking really with some light (5 lb) weights for my arms.
Anyone have any idea how much is too much to lose while pregnant?

I didn't get to goal after my DS either, but getting pregnant seemed to kick my metabolism up a notch and I lost ten pounds really quickly and I'm not gaining at all. I wasn't nauseated or avoiding food, it just happened.
If you keep losing rapidly, it might be a concern, but many of my non-WLS friends lose weight when pregnant, especially in the first trimester. We're supposed to try to avoid ketosis, so keep nibbling as needed, but I doubt it's anything to worry about.
I am currently 24 weeks. I lost 14 lbs early on in the pregancy and then stabalized for quite awhile. I have gained 11 of those lbs back now. I have been eating as much as I can, while trying to stick to mostly healthy foods. Baby is growing perfectly. I basically am using my low weight as my starting weight and have set a goal of 25 lbs to gain.
As long as you are eating healthy, drinking plenty, and getting a little exercise, just try to enjoy the pregnancy and not worry to much about the weight. The baby will take what it needs.
