Eleni~ When you went in did they discuss provera to start your cycle or anything to regulate you?

Caley~ Sorry af showed. Sometimes after a mc your cycles can be screwy. Hang in there okay.

Some common terms:

TTC - trying to conceive
BFP - big fat positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN - big fat negative (negative pregnancy test)
CD - the day of your menstrual cycle
O - ovulation
DPO - days past ovulation
LP - luteal phase (time from ovulation to period)
AF - aunt flow ( your period)
PG - pregnant/pregnancy
MC - misscarriage
RE - reproductive endocrinologist
OPK - ovulation prediction kit
CL - coverline ( for those taking their temps to confirm ovulation)
Met - metformin or glucophage ( a diabetes medication sometimes taken to help hormone levels and ovulation)
BD - baby dancing ( having timed intercourse)
DTD - doing the deed
IUI - inter uterine insemination
IVF - in vitro fertilization
PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome
POAS - pee on a stick (taking a pregnancy test)
2WW - two week wait...time from ovulation until you can test for pg

I am going for the scan this a.m. and then they will tell me if I do the trigger tonight.

we are trying again next week when I should be ovulating, so crossing fingers and saying prayers :-)

I am now on CD53, which according to my charts is 21 days late, but according to my Dr. is about 25/26 days late (from looking at my previous months). I have no signs of a period coming on.

When I went to the doctor she told me that they do not give you Provera unless you're atleast 3 months late. Needless to say, I have given up charting because I don't need this frustration. When it comes, it comes. I took my last HPT on Wednesday 8/18 and it was negative. So I am thinking about taking another one tomorrow morning.

Today is CD 23 for me.  I ovulated a little later than normal this month (CD 17), and the hubby had to leave to go out of town for work on CD 16, so the last BD was on CD 15.  Temps are looking good so far.  Guess we'll just have to wait and see.

We are TTC this month. My problem is I am having my gallbladder out on Tuesday and I should O about a week later. My surgeons rules are sex is aloud at my discretion. I hope I feel up to it after a week! This will be baby #1.

well hopefully my crazy cycles are working themselves out i think im getting pretty close to Oing so fingers crossed this month we make a baby :) 

Update from the scan.... I had 4 follicles but the dr said one of them is a really good size.  However my hormone level was 112, so they told me to do 2 more injections of Follistim and then 2 injections of Ovidrel Monday.  Now I am dealing with the insurance company because they don't want to pay for the 2nd injection of Ovidrel according to Walgreens, I called insurance co and they told me Dr's office needs to call in for the preauthorization. I already sent a message to the nurse thru the messaging service. 

We'll see.. this is a litle nervewrecking experience... I am trying to say to myself that everything will work out.

It has officially been a week since I thought I MAY have had some implantation bleeding. Apparently it's just a super long cycle, which I should be use to this by now. Took a First Response test this AM, and it's negotory. Honestly, I use to get so freakin mad, sad, depressed, etc. evertime I saw a negative. But I am actually getting pretty use to it. I don't even get depressed and treat my honey like crap any more. So if/when I finally do get the BFP, it should be a major shock. Hell, I may just have a heart attack!

You bring back so many memories. That was totally me. And that BFP was such a shock...seriously a shock even though I had been trying for years... I never thought it would happen....and now I have 2 beautiful babies. The adrenaline just takes over when it happens. It is the most amazing feeling in the world and I am praying very hard that you get yours very soon!!
