antidepressants??

So I was titrated off celexa when I found out I was pregnant...my last dose was last tuesday and by friday I was a mess and went from one extreme of crying to wanting to rip someones head off.  I know all about the whole hormone thing, but this is worse..so my doctor put me on wellbutrin..anyone else have to continue their meds??  Thanks.

I have been and (hopefully) will be in your boat soon. Don't feel bad about having to continue depression meds. Try and stay on a lower dose, if possible. Most people are either on 150 or 300 mlg of Wellbutrin. I did a lot of research on antidepressants during pregnancy and Prozac and Wellbutrin seems to be the safest choices.

I continued on my psych meds, was told that it would be better for me and the baby to stay on due to having depression. I take Celexa and Buspar.

I was on Cymbalta knowing I would have to go off it at 34 weeks. I know that I was switched to Lexipro and I can take that for the rest of the pregnancy. I haven't been taking eaither since I am doing good, for the most part. Just a little extra crazy that I just say is hormones. LOL Good luck with all of this. Depression and pregnancy sucks.
