Had my Midwife appt today!

So I went to see my midwife today!
She checked me. She said I was 1cm and she stretched me to 2cm.
She said I was still very high and that my cervix needed to do a lot of thinning!
I havnt had much cramping at all after my check! (she said I would)
I havnt had any blood or mucus or anything! Maybe she didnt stretch enough ? hahaha!

My baby is so dang big!!!
Baby is measuring a week and 3 days ahead!
She is weighing in at 8lbs!!! I know, I know...just an estimate!
But the midwife even started telling me about natural ways to start labour lol!
So I'm thinking its pretty bang on!  
                                                     
So I bought some castor oil! 
I'm just not sure how I take it?!
Just follow the directions on the bottle for its 'actual' use????
Please help me out here!

I have heard you aren't supposed to take castor oil until you are 40 weeks....

 Have a bit of a naive question. You said she stretched you to 2cm. What does that involve? Does it hurt?

She checked me when I went in. She said I was 1cm so she used her finger to stretch it open a bit more!
It doesnt tickle lol

 I did sex over the castor oil!!! I heard it causes awful diarrhea NO THANKS!! Sex worked for me!!

I did castor oil with my last and mixed it with orange juice. The contractions got pretty bad, but the worst was the (TMI) diarrhea, that is pretty much what brings on the contractions. I also used evening primrose oil on my cervix. It helps to soften it. Good luck.

Oh I know what castor oil does! Its a laxative! says so right on the bottle lol!
I still havnt taken it! I think maybe I'll try tomorrow night!
I have the evening primrose oil but havnt taken it yet either lol!
