Negative result

I just took a pregnancy test and got a negative result. I ovulated on August 28th and 29th and AF should have arrived on september 9th as of today no AF. Do you think I tested too early?  AF has never been late always on time...Thanks in advance...

Give it a few days and try again.  Are you having any 'symptoms?' Sore breasts, tiredness?  If it's not there in a week or so, see your dr.

Thank you both for the replies. I had cramping thinking my period was coming on thursday, but nothing. I have been feeling tired but no sore breast. I will test again in a week...

Might be a bit soon. I tested 2 days after a missed period and got such a faint positive line, you could barely see it. I tested again every day for a week or so and it just kept getting slightly darker and darker until I couldn't deny it any longer.

By the way, I was using the $1 tests from Dollar Tree, so it wasn't costing me much...

I had some symptoms like tender breasts, cramping, etc., that I thought were signs of my period coming, but turns out it I was wrong!!

I keep telling people that I ovulated later than normal, so I would not have been positive at 1st either..I never suspected it, so never tested till after a week or so. So don't loose hope..I had no tender breasts..I was a real B**CH...but other than that NO signs at all!!

I didn't get bfp's til I was at least 15dpo...you might be the same. Your hpt might also be designed to read a higher hcg level. Some are as sensitive as 25 and others have to be 75 or more. I had gotten a faint + on Equate brand and a - on both qual hcg blood test and an EPT digi...yet...I was prego. Remember...you're not out of the game til the old hag shows her face!

sorry to hear about negative result.. I have had one every cycle during my last 2 treatments... I am currently on the third...

but like the others have mentioned.. if you don't get your period...test again....
