Another angel on my list...and questions.
I just wanted to say that I am so sorry for your loss. This really stinks and I can't imagine what you are going through.
My RE was a very caring individual and it meant more than dollars to keep his "girls" pregnant. He'd been throgh fertility issues himself. Please seek out a compasionate specialist that can give you answers. No one should have to go through what you have.

Yep- Dr. Kauffman! My OB had taken a leave for three months right about the time I found out that I was pregnant so I didn't have a dr. I called Dr. Kauffman and asked if he could see me until she came back. He offered to see me weekly to ease my mind even though all I really wanted confirmation that everything was ok. He offered weekly sonos for me too. I really respect his attention and willingness to go the extra mile for me.

He is the best!!! I lost two pregnancies while seeing him. He was just as upset as I was. I got pregnant a third time he was so awesome about reassuring me. He did sono's weekly until my OB would see me 12 weeks (saw the OB nurse at 8 weeks). I gave birth to my son on August 10.

Thank you Tracey. The dr at OHSU is pretty nice...but unfortunately, it's all telephonic with him since I live overseas. I'm limited on options here, but did get the name of a clinic from the dr I've been seeing...so after waiting the recommended 2-3 cylcles...will likely start nagging a little louder to DH to at least talk to them, if for no other reason than to do the IVF to speed up the getting pg part of the puzzle again.

Oh Holly, I'm so sorry for you. I've had 5 losses over the past year, and the first one was a d&c due to a blighted ovum. For mine, I was given the medicine to go to sleep, per IV, When I woke up I was a little dopey from the meds, they let me lay there for about half an hour or so. When I stood up, there was quite a bit of bleeding. I got a prescription for some meds for cramping. I really didn't have any though. I bled for about 10 days after, but not heavy. I had a 13 week sac. I hope they can find your problem out so you can have a successful pregnancy. I've been praying for you. Good luck, keep us updated. Stefanie
