14W 2D -Could the doc be wrong?

The weird part is is trying to figure out which chart.
One of them just has a grid...the other one asked a few questions.

Either way, I am so excited for this baby and after a long incubation, I can't wait to meet it  :-)

Yeah... there are two charts. One just has the grid with your age at conception and the conception month. The other asks your age, the conception month, the conception day, and a couple other questions, I think. The one that was simple was the one that was right for me.

Well there is a chance the doc is wrong, but it sure looks like a boy to me... When I was pregnant with my twins at 14 weeks we seen my one was def. a boy.... The other they werent sure at 17 weeks they thought he was a boy then a girl and then a boy again... they were both boys... So you never know it is early could still be a girl in there... *crosses fingers*

You are right, it does look like boy parts....but I'm still going to hold out for the umbilical cord. Ha ha ha....Either way, it will be amazing!!!  Just knowing that I will have successfully added to our family.

Thanks for the finger crossing  :-)  Guess I have quite a few more weeks before updating with a "definitely" rather than "probably" answer

I am glad all is well with baby!!!!

I have to agree with your Doc.... that looks like the same "arrow" we saw at 16 weeks with my son Carter....

Both our girl ultrasounds have 3 lines, and no protruding parts....

BUT - wait until your ultrasound at 20 week - you never know! :)

Thank you!!  I am so glad too. I was sitting here watching the dvd and totally awe struck. What a miracle.

I will definitely wait till my next big ultrasound...after the baby has grown a little more...I'll still dangle that little bit of hope that it was the umbilical cord, LOL. But still super excited either way.

I personally cannot see how anyone can tell anything by looking at these ultrasound pictures. That being said 1. Yes anyone can be wrong about anything at any point. So yes keep hope alive but start mentally preparing yourself for your son to have a brother. and 2. I understand how you feel I wanted a boy. I already had a girl who is 6. This too is my last child. Instead I got another girl. I was very disappointed but I got over it and I am sure you will too.

I totally agree....these things are very hard to read.
I am definitely preparing myself that if it's a boy, at least I will already have experience and will know what to do. I think I'm afraid that if it is a boy, will they compare themselves to each other? Will one feel less than the other? What if one has my husbands metabolism and the other mine (one skinny and one fat)...that just doesn't seem fair.  So many things that run through your head...

It's funny to see other people and wonder, why did they get the rounded family, one boy and one girl? Why not me?

But hey, the baby is healthy and I love it regardless.
But for now, it will still remain an "it" until the big ultrasound

Thanks again!!
