Quick update on Ruby - Pics
Ruby will be 6 months old in about a week. Hard to believe!
Her Reflux is still going strong. The constant spitting up gets so frustrating but she's a happy spitter now which is the important thing. At this point it's really more of a laundry problem than a health problem. Someday she won't have to wear a bib all the time.
She has 2 bottom teeth and we think she might be working on the top teeth now.
She took her first plane trip a few weeks ago and did great on the flight both ways. She was teething while we were visiting Grandma & Grandpa so she wasn't her normal charming self but they were happy to see her nonetheless.
Here are a few recent pics.

Lap Band September 2007 / Slip discovered March 2014 after significant regain / Revised to VSG April 29, 2014
It's very frustrating. Just be prepared that it might last for a while. Our doctor said "a couple more months" at her 4 month appointment and it hasn't shown any signs of slowing down yet. A lot of stuff I've read said that if it doesn't correct itself by 3 months, it may not until 1 year. We had our fingers crossed that it would be better at 3 months but no dice...now we're just planning on 1 year and hoping we're wrong. It sucks.

Oh she is soooo cute!! I am totally over having a reflux baby too. My son who is 8 now threw up where as Amber spits up. Anyway he was throwing up till his first birthday and then some even after that. I can remember hoping when he sat up it would get better, or when he crawled it would go away, or when he walked.... etc etc. He has a really strong gag reflex and would throw up when he cried hard. I hate even just thinking about it. It sucked so bad! I hope Ruby, Aiden and Amber outgrown their reflux soon!!
They grow to fast! She is so sweet! I have a happy spitter to ( more like a happy projectile vomit girl) I just buy lots and lots of clothes and Dreft!
