Yesterday's appt - cervix check - soon?
So, I'll be 39 weeks Monday. I had an appt yesterday. Dr checked my cervix and said I'm 2 cm dialated and 80% efaced.
This morning I'm pretty sure I lost at least some of my mucus plug. Any ideas how soon I can expect something?
I'm really hoping to make it through work Monday. I have some things to tie up there...
Thanks for any input

Hey there, I wish losing the mucus plug was some sort of steady indicator, but its really not. I lost mine three weeks before I had Lydia, and its different for everyone. All I can really say is that you'll have that little baby before three weeks most likely. :-) Sorry, I know its hard to wait at this point.
A week before I went into labor, I had a dr. appt and found I was 3 cm dialate. It won't be long for you now. Try and stay relaxed, go outside and take walks as much as you can.
Whatever you do, don't go to the hospital when you go into labor and let them stick you with an IV & chain you to the bed. That's pretty much what happened to me. I think the nonstop lying/sitting prolonged my labor even more. I wished I would have been able to walk through the halls, took a warm shower, ect. Don't forget, you are the boss at the hospital :) It will SO be different for me, next time.
