Flu!

So I am pretty sure I have the flu and I am freaking out. The internet is not a nice place to visit when you have worries sometimes - lots of scary info out there...flu during pregnancy tied to miscarriage, 7x increase in schizophrenia (!), lower IQ...anyone have the flu during pregnancy and end up with a happy, smart, non-schizophrenic little bundle!?!?

Of course I know it must happen all the time but in my achy feverish unhappy state I am convinced that I am destined for awful things.

How far along are you in your pregnancy? I know that most people take tylenol to relieve their achy symptoms and that it's considered safe suring pregnancy.

I had the flu when I was pregnant with both my children, and they are very intelligent, and the flu was harder that time around since it was before my RNY. I just got over the flu 2 weeks ago, and this week I have a cold! I think it is the doctors way of talking pregnant women into having their flu shots.
