relief was simple!
So I have been posting about my black out episodes, and my blood pressuring dropping. Last week I went to the ER because I was having shortness of breath after one of my black outs. They did an EKG, normal. They tested the changes in blood pressure when laying, sitting, standing...normal. I was beginning to think it was in my head! They mentioned doing a cat scan, but I knew from previous experience I was not willing to put baby at risk by having one on an off chance. My OB advised the ER to give me some IV fluids, and lay down.
Within minutes the room wasn't spinning, and I was steady on my feet. Something I hadn't felt for weeks. I was simply dehydrated...very dehydrated. I have been eating and drinking, just apparently not enough. My OB told me if I have to get calories and protein in with just shakes, then do it but I need to drink more. Since then I have doubled my fluid intake, adding milk to the mix for added protein. I haven't blacked out once. I still get the spins now and then, but I just sit down drink some and it goes away.
Thanks for the support and ideas ladies. i am grateful to finally have some relief. here is to a hydrated next 6 months

I'm glad they found out what it was...and that it was an easy solution. Drinking is doable.
That's sweet DH is sneaking extra little bottles of water in your lunch. Take his little hint and drink it up too. Just don't go too far from the toilet. LOL You're going to get very used to being there if you drink that much all the time!
