Hello Ladies

*disclaimer...if you are a stickler about grammer, puncuation, word phrasing, etc dont read this..you will be angry

Anyway. Sorry I have abadnoned you ladies but it has been a CRAZY last almost 9 months since I had my beautiful baby girl. Lets see if I can get through it quickly without writing a book....those who follow me on fb will know more. Well, shes completely healthy and thriving. Me and her dad are seperated, in fact lets just call him what he is a sperm donor. He plays no part in her life, sends me a text about once every two weeks asking how she is, i say fine and hes satisfied with that...except the past few weeks hes been interested in her and me asking lots of questions, promising to send her stuff on christmas eve *smh sigh eye roll* which i still havent gotten...but i think it was just because of the holiday season not genuine interest. So Ive been a single mom since my baby girl was 3 weeks..when he basically left us.

As for me....I am finally 21 now lol and officially a college graduate. If you remembered i attended college out of state..well i finished my last semester of college, just me and her...and i did it with a 3.287 GPA. can you tell im proud of myself, especially after how many people told me i was nuts and id never be able to do it; yea im still sleep deprived from the sleepness nights but its done. ive moved back home with my parents now..hopefully temporarily..until i can find a full time job and get some savings back; which unfortunately got depleted being a single mom and not planning for it. i mean yea my parents have helped me, but its been more mental and emotional support than physical. now ive graduated though i feel so unproductive and going stir crazy putting out applications and hearing nothing back..man i should just go back to school again hehe NOT

As for Anaya. She is getting quite big. This little 4 lb 10.8oz  and 17 in long peanut has rocketed to a 17lb and 26 inch long diva. She is such a mommas girl and will not be away from me (except her day care providers). She is even just starting to warm up to my dad (not mom yet) that I can run to the store or something and leave her with him and she wont scream ger head off the entire time im gone. She says mama, nana (my mom), and hi. oh and she can clap. and she now has 4 teeth and is eating everything i will let her...cereal, mac and cheese, chicken pieces, fruits (she barely eats baby food anymore..the jarred kind i mean). heres the funny part. this chick is going to be 9 months on friday and does now/will not crawl. i know she can because i have it taped but she just wont lol. what she will do is pull herself across the floor, pull up on things, and now she can even stand unsupported for a few seconds. her old daycare worker said shes seen these signs before and doesnt think shes really going to crawl but will skip and go to walking lol. haaa my little diva. but heres the goodies aka pictures. feel free to ask any questions. Grats on graduating, too! You should be proud! That is an awesome achievement for a single mom with a tiny baby.

As far as crawling, both my twins totally skipped crawling and went straight to walking @13 months old. I wouldn't be surprised if your girl does the same thing. They're just little ladies determined to do thing their own way!

Congrats to you on your accomplishments. Sorry to hear that her Dad does not choose to be a part of her life as she is one great looking kiddo but sometimes that is for the best. One of my best friends is going through the same issue...she really got a reality check from this guy and like you did not plan on being a single Mom but she is fighting for her daughers rights and will make sure he helps support her, if only financially. Being a college graduate and a young Mom is great. I am going back for my Masters as of Monday and my son is 3 now and I am stressing it! What did you get your degree in? Are you open to moving or do you need to stay close to family? Best Wishes!

thank you. her dad, ive gotten over it. hes a douche and hes the one missing out not me; i cant keep putting my effort into making him be there for her if he doesnt want to be. but financially i have NOT let him off the hook and dont think i ever will. i went to school and got my BS in business administration emphasis in marketing. but these days im just looking for any job to support my little one. i am open to moving and have actually been looking in some wild far off places for me lol but i love to travel so that could be it.

I work for USAA which specialized in Insurance, Investments, Finacial Planning, etc for military and their families. It is a amazing company and the benefits are wonderful! I have been here for 5+ years and they have bonuses, tuition assistance, and a slew of other things. I work in the office in San Antonio, TX but they have locations in Phoenix, Tampa, and Colorado as well. The closed the office nearest you in Norfolk, VA. Nonetheless I am doing my masters now thanks to them and just thought I would mention it. I had no insurance or banking background and did not know what I wanted out of the job but love it now. I have tripled my salary since starting with them and moved up the ranks and so thought I would mention the opportunity. Your degree will fit into something! Mine was in International Studies with a business minor.

congrats on graduating. you give me hope that it can be done with a young baby since i just have one class to take before i graduate. i have been preparing as much as possiable to be a single mother since the day i found out i was pregnant since her father said he wanted nothing to do with the baby. i am so proud of you. you are such an insperation and your lil girl is so cute.

thank you. im glad i could give you hope because it CAN be done. i stayed in school throughout my pregnancy and started back when she was 6 weeks old with an online class. it was hard because i had morning sickness like hell, was stressed over medical complications, going to school 3 hrs from any family, and generally being alone. but its over now lol...except that im contimplating grad school now haha. and being a single mom, another hurdle that can be done when it needs to be done. just put your faith in God and he will see you through anything.
