I am not keeping track, I hope you will inspire me. I do try and make good alternative choices when craving things, and only have complex carbs, but somtimes after dinner I want something before I go to bed.
I think 1500 is right for one baby, we should get 1200 for us then 300 extra for baby is what most people have posted about.

I started keeping track about 4 weeks ago because I gained some weight and was not very happy about it.  The calories that your body needs all depends on your age, height and weight.  We are all not the same.  As someone who weighs more needs more calories to sustain there basal metabolic rate (the amount of calories needed to maintain weight and keep organs functioning properly, exc).  But as a general rule of thumb, during pregnancy we should be eating about 300 extra calories per day in our second and third trimester.  Babyfit is a good site to reference to in regards to how many calories you need, healthy eating and exercise.  I find that I maintain my weight on 1800 to 2000 calories per day, whi*****ludes 30 mins of exercise per day.  So it all depend on your body.  How do you feel on 1500 calories ?  are you hungry/ satisfied?  Losing/gaining or maintaining your weight?

I don't really keep track of any of that except protein.  I did a couple of days last week and I was getting abut 1500 calories.  I started this pregnancy at 251, weighed on Nov 11th at my first appointment (so I am not at goal and still overweight) but I am now at 239.  I feel like I am eating all of the time and for a bit I was maintaining at about 245 but I have started losing again.  I am not sure how much more I can eat but the dr does said he is not worried about me losing weight as long as I am eating and baby looks good.

I tracked one of my highest calorie days and came in under 1200 calories, my problem is my sodium intake!
I have gained over 50lbs, but not taking in the amount of calories I need. SO I will blame my sodium.

I was only tracking protein and carbs (carbs to make sure o avoid ketosis) and then I logged my food for calories for a week. I was only getting 800-1000 calories, so I have had to increase it. My NUT said while pregnant 1500 minimum
