New to this board and TTC #1
Hi everyone my name is Reyna, I am new around here but not to OH. I thought I would give my intro and join you all. I am 30 yrs old, diagnosed with PCOS in 2004 and had my left ovary and tube removed due to a 10 lb cyst that ruined my ovary. I have been married for 9 years and kids have always been a dream for us. I am 15 months post op VSG and doing really great. My PCOS specialist says that he is so happy with my weight loss and my labs are perfect so he gave us the green light. I have stopped taking birth control and my doc wants to see if I will ovulate on my own but if in the next two months I don't have a period or do not become pregnant he will start me on medications for ovulation. It seemed that my birth control was not strong enough because in the last 6 months I developed a painful cyst on my left and only ovary. I also have a uterine fibroid but it is on the outside so my doc says it should not interfere. I was on birth control to try and keep the cysts at bay and also to give my body time to adjust to the VSG. I have been waiting for this for so long and now I am flooded with emotions. My PCOS is very sever and I have never had regular periods without using medications so I am beyond nervous that I can't get pregnant. I know they say if you stress about it it just makes things harder so I am trying really hard not to think negatively. Please send some prayers and any advice my way. I will be praying for all of you too.
