Hi girls. How is everyone doing in their TTC journey? I wanted to post a few personals to those that posted last week. And of course any adds or changes to the list let me know. Praying for all of you to get those bfp’s. Remember this IS the place to let it all out. I know all to well how hard the TTC journey can be and couldn’t have done it without the support here…so vent away okay!! Shari

Some common terms:
TTC – trying to conceive
BFP - big fat positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN – big fat negative (negative pregnancy test)
CD – the day of your menstrual cycle
O – ovulation
DPO – days past ovulation
LP – luteal phase (time from ovulation to period)
AF – aunt flow ( your period)
PG – pregnant/pregnancy
MC - misscarriage
RE – reproductive endocrinologist
OPK – ovulation prediction kit
CL – coverline ( for those taking their temps to confirm ovulation)
Met – metformin or glucophage ( a diabetes medication sometimes taken to help hormone levels and ovulation)
BD – baby dancing ( having timed intercourse)
DTD – doing the deed
IUI – inter uterine insemination
IVF – in vitro fertilization
PCOS – polycystic ovarian syndrome
POAS – pee on a stick (taking a pregnancy test)
2WW – two week wait…time from ovulation until you can test for pg

Hello ladies!
My IVF cycle is well under way! I had my intrilipid infusion today at the RE's office. I have my follie check on Sat and my egg retrival should be next weekend!!
I'm all bloated and bruised from the belly shots, but it's nothing I can't handle!! I will do whatever it takes for that BFP!!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to you as well. We are within a few days of each other. I had a previous miscarriage as well so all the more luck to you. I am so scared that it's going to be more of the same, but I am SO trying to be hopeful this time!!
