HELP!- saline U/S coming up. Anyone had one? Also, need Clomid advice! Sry, kinda...
Hey Violet ! I had a saline infusion ultrasound prior to my first pregnancy. It is pretty uncomfortable. Mostly moderate cramping, but it doesn't take very long. I also had a Hysterosalpingogram (where dye is injected to test for tube patency). It was much more painful than the saline infusion ultrasound. Just keep your eye on the prize ! Picture the beautiful baby that you are TTC & it'll be over in no time. I did one round of clomid to help plan my cycle/ovulation prior to an IUI. I had 2 "ripe" eggs & both of them were fertilized resulting in fraternal twins. You will be in my thoughts. I'll be sending lots of baby dust your way : )
Thanks, Trish!
I am definitely keeping my "eyes on the prize" but, man, I am hoping the Clomid is the last stop on the fertility-train!
It's so annoying that I had no cycle/reproductive issues when conceiving my first 2 kids... all this B.S. really makes me realize how much I took my fertility for granted in the past! It makes me admire women like you who have gone through lots on invasive stuff to have a baby (or BABIES!)
But I'm excited-- I get my U/S out of the way on the 26th... and my AF is due that same day or the following day (although who knows... Aunt Flo is doin' her own thing these days!) and then my OB wants me to do the Clomid on CDs 5-10... so this is all happening really soon!
I am wondering if the Clomid will 'stop' my AF on day 5 when I start it... because, otherwise, I'll probably just have another one of my lovely 20-day-long-periods and how the heck do I have sex on the right days when I'm still bleeding?? I'm gonna have to run that one by my OB....
Thank you so much & a belated congrats on your twins!! And thanx for the baby-dust ;)

I did a 6 day clomid cycle and my AF was normal 8 day cycle. Sending lots of baby dust your way. Hope all went well with your testing today. The only side effect I got was emotional. I cried alot.
