Filthy Friday!!!!
Chelle I too was inspired to finally shave my legs due to last weeks post and after I de-haired myself I just knew I was going to need a plumber to unclog the drain (ewww I know that sounds nasty...but trust me it looked nastier)..LMAO!!! Husband is loving the smooth legs, arm pits and lower regions (which the lower regions took some crazy acrobats to accomplish that) boy I'm never letting it go like that again... That was 8 months worth of sasquatch...LOL...

This could take awhile, so here is the point form....
1) MIL is coniveing and manipulative. She thinks so little of my husband but is over the top about her other son who won't even call her let alone visit, or invite her to his place.
2)My daughter is 7 and is having some weight issues and a kid is saying things about her. The teachers response is to ignore it.
3)I can't trust a single person I work with. They are all out to make themselves look better by trying to make others look bad. It is a sad thing to watch.
4)My husband thinks I want hourly updates about his day. He calls and acts offended if i am not really into hearing about every conversation he had in the last few hours.
5)I am already planning to go home and sleep away the weekend.

Hi Ladies! Happy Friday!
OK... I too finally shaved but only because I had to... i got 2 more butterflies tattoo'd on my leg on Saturday. I get a butterfly for every 10 lbs that I lose. I'm now the proud owner of 13 butterflies tattoo'd on my leg and 132 less lbs! woo hoo!
OK... now for my rant of the week. My SIL's older sister is a selfish manipulative something the rhymes with witch. For Christmas, we went in on a gift for our nephew. She had it shipped directly to my nephew and told him it was coming. So when it arrived, he was so excited. He facebooked about it and my DW and I commented "gee... would have been nice to see you open it" esp since we all were going to be at their house for xmas eve dinner that night. Anyway, at the dinner party, he announced how grateful he was that his aunt joann (the selfish manipulative one) got him this great flip camera and he wants to shoot videos of everyone. Now mind you, this was literally 4 days after I started my MC, was emotionally wrought and in a lot of physical pain with a side of sheer exhaustion. So in his speech to everyone, I interrupted him to point out that actually 4 households contributed to that gift and it wasn't just from aunt joann. He was so "mortified" by MY behavior that he has since stopped talking to me and now I have to deal with being the "horrid aunt maryn". WFT?! My 17 yo nephew is being extremely immature, my brother & SIL are being ridiculous for allowing him to completely ignore me for 6 weeks, aunt joann is a selfish witch. And i'm trying to plan our wedding (to which aunt joann will NOT be invited) and we're also TTC again! I'm going to talk to my SIL today about the fact that my DW and I do not want to have this nephew be in our wedding (yes we already asked him to be an usher) because of how he has chosen to treat me. I am so hurt it has turned to anger.

Sorry Maryn. Sounds like some of your relatives are "toxic" and should only be around when absolutely necessary. I'm glad you put your nephew in his place. Some kids are so spoiled nowadays and don't appreciate anything. Grrr.

Do not feel bad cutting these people out of life for a while. They deserve it.

My family didn't know about the pg or mc. We told my bro & SIL in Jan and my SIL responded with "i'm so sorry." She was very sweet. My bro on the other hand was a tota schmuckus! He didn't even acknowledge I was pg or had an mc. Just focused on his big brother bs speach. I am still very hurt by that.
I just called my SIL and we're going for a hike this afternoon. I need a good hike (haven't exercised in a week) and I need to talk to her about all of this. It's totally eating away at me.

I so feel you on this family stuff!!! I had to rant about my disrespectful family as well and let me tell you, they won't be hearing from me anytime soon. And I'm due to deliver in only a little over 3 weeks now and they will be LUCKY if the are on the phone tree chain when baby arrives cus right now I have no desire to speak to them let alone see them!!! They disgust me!! Don't feel bad for using some tough love on your nephew!! I'm doing the same with my family!!
