Pregnant 2yrs post op over 35 and pregnant again
Hi,
I haven't been on the boards here in years either. I'm having baby #3 (I m/c'd baby #1), 37 & (not married), my boyfriend is 38 with a 4 1/2yr daughter (conceived 3 months post surgery); living with my Mom. Things are working out very well though...
1. Each pregnancy is different. I really didn't noticed any symptoms with my DD but I do with this one. I don't really have any morning/evening sickness at first but then had 'spells' of dry heaves till about 13wks.
2. Yes, safe post op.... generally the farther out the better but I can't talk.
3. Yes, I'm afraid of gaining the weight but I think the majority of us are seeing what we have all done to get to this point. As of right now (about 4 1/2 months along), I have done nothing but lose weight. I have lost about 10 - 15lbs and I'm not trying. It was just one of those things. While I could definitely use the weight loss (I have gained about 20 lbs back since surgery), this isn't how I planned it. My eating isn't the best but could be worse. So far the baby is weighing right on track and everything appears normal.
4. Yes, as I mentioned before... I'm 37 and my boyfriends is 38. 'Both' of my babies were unexpected gifts and I wouldn't change that for anything. I love them no less than if I was trying for years. I believe that there are a few ladies here either close to 35 or over. This is definitely going to be interesting for the family but I have to believe that things will work out for the best.
Take care and Congratulations!!!
