Low blood sugar ?

Just wondering if anyone has/had a similar problem....normally (pre-preg) I dump on added sugar....

However I now have a different issue since being pregnant! If I don't eat something every 3 hours my blood sugar drops...I get hot, my heart beats like it's coming out of my chest, my hands start to shake and I feel lightheaded...as soon as I eat something within 15 minutes I'm better...it's kind of scary...in a way it's bad because I don't want to eat unnecessarily but it's the only thing that helps...

Anyone have a similar experience and please tell me it will go away...before rny I wasn't diabetic now that I'm without the weight now I'm having a problem?!?!?

Thanks, Courtney

Even though I never pushed myself to see if I dumped before pregnancy, I did have blood sugar problems. I had to keep a Hersey bar on me all the time! It would help me stabilize long enough to eat a protein. The issue pretty much resolved itself after the first trimester for me, after I realized that I needed to eat every 2 hours. It really helps. Now I do not have any problems at all.

I have problems with low blood sugars. I just keep hershey kisses in my purse and at my bed so when I feel it coming down I can pop a piece in and suck on it and start feeling a little better. Takes about 3 or 4 of them but it works out that way. I also have to eat about every 2 hours. With these twins its every 1 hour sometimes lol.
