8 days over......

Well today I'm offically 8 days overdue. If she doesn't come by Thursday afternoon, that's when I'm scheduled to be induced. I so wanted to go on my own. Only dilated to 2 and 50% effaced. He said she is still up high. Good luck to everyone else!

Good luck! I was 2 days late and think I walked 10 miles in those 2 days! LOL I would also bounce on my exercise ball and sit on it while I was watching TV.

Wow that is so crazy.  I brought my contractions on by using nipple stimulation.  I found something online about it and before long my contractions were 5 minutes apart and I was 4cm.

Wow. Did you try spicy food? I don't know if any of that stuff works...

I know how you feel....I was 12 days overdue when I finally went into labor. Nothing worked - sex, spicy food, walking, blueberries, etc.  Good luck and sorry for the wait! 

If you have a breast pump, try it...

Thanks everyone! I'll keep you all posted. I had some bloody show/mucus plug today(tmi sorry), but I don't know if that's from my exam yesterday or not

 I will have my fingers crossed for you! Try nipple stimulation, walking and spicy stuff... couldn't hurt!
Also, (and I only say this b/c you said "I so wanted to go on my own") I just wanted to note that, if there isn't any pressing medical reason to do so, you don't have to get induced... if you wait long enough, you will go into labor on your own-- no one stays pregnant forever. My friend's wife went 14 days past her due date and delivered a healthy 8 lb baby!
