Some common terms:

TTC - trying to conceive
BFP - big fat positive (positive pregnancy test)
BFN - big fat negative (negative pregnancy test)
CD - the day of your menstrual cycle
O - ovulation
DPO - days past ovulation
LP - luteal phase (time from ovulation to period)
AF - aunt flow ( your period)
PG - pregnant/pregnancy
MC - misscarriage
RE - reproductive endocrinologist
OPK - ovulation prediction kit
CL - coverline ( for those taking their temps to confirm ovulation)
Met - metformin or glucophage ( a diabetes medication sometimes taken to help hormone levels and ovulation)
BD - baby dancing ( having timed intercourse)
DTD - doing the deed
IUI - inter uterine insemination
IVF - in vitro fertilization
PCOS - polycystic ovarian syndrome
POAS - pee on a stick (taking a pregnancy test)
2WW - two week wait...time from ovulation until you can test for pg

Have never before, but last week I got + OPK...for Wed & Thur. it was pink then Fri~dark red!

 Trying, trying, trying again.  First cycle after HSG and on Clomid.  Hoping for good results this time!

Hi Shari ~ on CD 15, took 2 days of Clomid 100mg then started to have terrible side effects. Dicontinued for the rest of the cycle and OB wants me back down to 50mg for 2 cycles. If we aren't pregnant by then she's going to refer me to a R.E.
Wish me luck, right?  I'm so confused!

This month has been weird because my DH had his WLS 2 weeks ago so we have been taking it easy. My boobs have been hurting really bad for the last few weeks and they usually don't hurt until the week before AF and I had some redish discharge a week and a half ago once and have been having abnormal cramping that usually doesn't happen until the week before AF. my body has been all over the place this month!  DH said that it would be our luck the month we DTD outside my fertile window(which was the week after his surgery) would be the month we get PG. So I guess I'm just waiting for AF to show u*****t.

Not much to report, long cycle this month, "o" ed cd 28-29 so I am stuck in the TWW right now.  FX  You can check out my chart if you like...lol  (I love being stalked)

CD42.......stopped "trying" quite some time ago and just living life. I no longer have any testing kits for OV or pregnancy at the house. I do have lots of stress in my life and I am now 44 and wonder if it's the stress or early menopause. If AF does not arrive soon I will poas. As in the past sometimes it is easier to dream than to know reality.

We will be making try number 4 this month. Lots o BDing this week and next.   I'm hoping that between now and June I'm pregnant.  And I hope all the others on this list get their BFP's!
