I've got a thread going on some recipes I've tried and asking for recommendations from other folks who have tried stuff. I think the problem is that Groups are kind of hidden so people don't participate in them as much as the forums that are front and center.
The FB Instant Pot groups (regular, low carb 1 & low carb 2) and googling for IP recipes with low-carb and paleo added on is how I find stuff. I tend to look for meat recipes rather than anything casserole-y or whatnot, since those tend to have too many carbs. There are lots of great recipes out there!
I'm sure it's only a matter of time before someone publishes a bariatric IP cookbook. :)

I just searched for a group and didn't find one. But a lot of topics came up across all the forums.
I bought some turkey burgers last summer and they've been in my freezer mostly untouched. Do you guys have any recipe ideas to use them, such as seasonings or incorporating them into a dish?

Great recipe sharing Facebook group lead by Patricia who had WLS in June or Jully and who is trained in nutrition. You can see her WLS-friendly recipes in the Photo Album of the group. Go to "My Bariatric Kitchen" on Facebook and ask to join. You won't regret it.

Hi all,
Does anyone here try cheese with green tea? You don't believe, it's a nice combination. I love experimenting and I tried cheese with wine which was also try. We should be careful about the recipe. I tried cheese with green tea latte which is prepared using unsweetened vanilla almond milk and stevia. Creamy cheese and green tea is a good combination. Hereby I'm sharing my favorite green tea latte recipe.
Preparation
Steam 1 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk with 1 tsp matcha green tea. add 1 packet of stevia and stir it well. Sprinkle a generous amount of cinnamon on top and Try it with fresh creamy cheese.

This recipe is my go to. Just takes 30 seconds to heat them up and out the door. 82 calories each and 9 grams of protein. www.emilybites.com has repurposed a lot of recipes and I have not made one I didn't like. They aren't necessarily geared towards high protein, but rather lower calories, but there are some that are all protein, like this one. http://www.emilybites.com/2017/02/ham-and-cheese-egg-cups.ht ml. She is a rock star!
Ham and Cheese Egg Cups
yield: 12 EGG CUPS
INGREDIENTS:
- 9 oz thinly sliced deli ham, divided (I used Hillshire Farm Deli Select)
- 6 large eggs
- 2 egg whites
- ¼ cup skim milk
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- ½ cup chopped fresh spinach leaves
- 2 oz shredded 2% sharp cheddar cheese, divided
DIRECTIONS:
- Preheat the oven to 350. Lightly mist 12 cups in a muffin tin with cooking spray. Press a slice of ham into each cup of the muffin tin, arranging the edges to form a ham cup. Chop up the remaining ham (my slices were about ½ ounce each so I had around 3 ounces remaining) and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the eggs, egg whites, milk, salt and pepper and whisk together until yolks and whites are fully combined and beaten. Add the reserved chopped ham, the spinach and half of the shredded cheddar and stir together to combine.
- Spoon the egg mixture evenly into the ham cups and then top each cup with the remaining shredded cheese. Place the tin in the oven and bake for 18-20 minutes until the eggs are set.

Is there a bariatric Instant Pot recipe book or site? Anyone have any recommendations?
Thanx!
No way on the cornstarch !!! There's a real eye opener !
What a lot of Orientals substitute is Arrowroot which gives much less of a glycemic index jump . Arrowroot is actually their traditional thickener ( corn obviously comes from the Americas )
its just a bit more expensive and harder to find ( but not really difficult it's in the spice section) diabetics use it too .
