WooHoo...my wish list is slowly but surely dwindling down. I purchased my much wanted chest freezer and it's due to be delivered on Monday (4/4). I got a great deal at Sam's Club, on sale at $40 off. I bought the Haier 7.1 cu ft chest deep freezer for only $149 including tax. I decided to buy it online so it could/will be delivered to my home (free shipping).

I reconstituted it, and actually, I needed to add a little more water to the dish as it cooked so it wouldn't burn.
I hope you enjoy it.

Carol, did you just use 1/2 cup of the PB2 powder or did you reconstitute it first? I can't wait to try this!!

Life is not a dress rehearsal.

This is a recipe I made recently. I used PB2 for the peanut butter to save a few calories. It was a nice change from the usual chicken and easy to make. I skip the rice.

I have always had a love for cooking and eating. But since my surgery I find I love cooking new and healthy foods as well. To share here are some simple recipes. Quick and easy to make
Shrimp ****tail. -----
4-6 Shrimp, 1/2 tbsp salsa, and 1/2 tbsp BBQ sauce
Crab Meat---
1/4 cup crab meat, 2 tbsp low fat cottage cheese, 1 tbsp feta cheese
Red crusted Tilapia---
1 4 oz tilapia, 1/2 tbsp crushed red pepper, 1 tsp crushed garlic,
Sounds delicious. I will have to try that. I am supposed to start soft food next week but it might be a couple weeks as I can't keep eggs down right now. Thanks
