You mean when you put your shake in the blender? I tried that and got the same result. Here's what I do now.
I use this cup SmartShaker because it has a removable filter in the lid to stop clumps from getting through. It also has removable cups for your protein powder and vitamins for when you're on the go.
I also add a wire mixer ball, because it helps to break up the clumps. I hate clumps.
I make my shakes in the morning, shake them up good, and then put them in the fridge until I'm ready to drink them. By then, they are clump free and (after a quick shake or two to remix) ready to go. You could add your blended fruit just before you drink the shake.
Another option would be to just blend your shakes in the morning or the night before and let them sit in the fridge until the bubbles are gone. A quick shake to remix and they should be drinkable, I would think.
Hi try this one
I had beef vegetable soup today that was Tasty. Very easy.
~1lb Stew Beef
1 carton beef stock
can o' diced potatoes
can o' diced tomatoes (I used one with garlic and olive oil)
a bunch (I didn't measure) of frozen mixed veggies
a pouch of beef onion soup
6 hours on low.
I share your love of crockpot too!!
On my preop diet and trying to be serious about the protein shake requirements. I am allowed to add a few healthy ingredients (very limited fruit). However, when I add them to my NEW ninja nutribullet thing (Black Friday Deal!), it doubles in volume due to air bubbles...which I don't like (and I"m sure would be uncomfortable post op!). Tips? Thoughts? Ideas?
Thanks!

I make my own and freeze some, so I can have it anytime I want it.

This sounds very good, I am going to have to try it! And you can't get any simpler than this :) Thank you for the idea!
I tried Hunts No Added Sugar Pasta Sauce. (For .5 cup, it had 35 cal, .5g fat, 7g carbs, 1g protein.) It tasted ok, but was nowhere as good as my Ragu. Also, I could only find it on Amazon and it was expensive.
What I usually do is just set aside my portion of whatever I want pasta sauce on and put as little sauce as I can live with (usually one or two tbsp.)
4 chicken breast
1 can of fat free chicken broth
1 can of fat free cream of mushroom soup
1 can of tomato sauce
1 can of whole mushrooms
Put all in the crockpot and cook for 8 hours. It is so moist and tasty. For those not on a low carb diet the can spoon it over rice or noodles.

You survived what you thought would kill you. Now straighten your crown and go forward like the Queen you are!
I'm following a meal plan for my pre op program and I'm working on finding healthy alternatives to things I use quite regularly. Does anyone know of any good pasta sauce you like that's program healthy? Hopefully not Prego lol!
