I screwed up.
You've had some really good feedback to your post. I hope you can take it to heart and look at it as a lesson learned. You didn't get fat overnight and the emotional issues that caused you to overeat don't go away overnight. I know I'll deal with my **** for the rest of my life but when I screw up, I'll hope to be able to look at it as a lesson. And to look at what is going on emotionally to trigger the need to feed.
I really applaud you for posting here. Although something inside you wanted us to beat you up for it, there was another part that was asking for help. You did the right thing, sweetie. Hang in there. Chalk it up to an A.F.G.E. Another ******g Growth Experience.
It's a new day so what are you doing for yourself today? I hope your making it a great day!

Totally been there-- mine was on a can of mixed nuts in the parking lt at work at 4 months out. I actually called my surgeons and insisted I had broke my pouch.
If u ate 1000 calories that is still a deficit girlie and in reality make shake things up and you'll drop weight like crazy next week.
U can't undo it. Simply learn from it. Sadly, it prob won't be the last time. If anyone has ever been perfect thru all this then I'm jealous

Be happy.
So, you slipped up one day. One day out of many that you didn't slip up.
Besides that, you say you ate around 1200 calories. If you're as active as you say you are, that's already burned. Calculate your BMR and see what you'd burn if you did nothing all day. Just laid in bed and breathed, lol. Then subtract 1200 calories. I guarantee that you will still find yourself in the negative.
None of us gained weight by eating 1200 calories a day.
You know where you went wrong, so avoid putting yourself in that position again. When people are leaving, give them the bag of chips to take home.
And you didn't ruin your pouch. If you "popped" anything in your gut you'd be in the emergency department screaming for morphine.
Tomorrow is a new day.

As the others have said, cut yourself some slack. We all mess up from time to time because none of us is perfect and because completely changing years of bad eating habits is hard. I would suggest, though, that you consider seeing a counselor because (as a counselor myself) I see a number of things in your post -- many of which have already been pointed out by other respondents -- that will likely continue to cause you problems with this journey down he road if you do not address them. Surgery does nothing to fix the bad habits and psychological issues that caused our obesity In the first place and dealing with those issues now will give you the best chance at long-term weight loss (and, more importantly, weight maintenance) success.
