Hi long time lurker since march 2015 when I started my journey i was cleared for surgery but I was not ready so I canceled.i started again Aug 2016. And will be having surgery tomorrow, I have learned a lot from everyone on this site and with the knowledge I have learned here I feel as ready as I can be after all my journey is an open book and looking forward to writing new chapters i am also looking forward getting to know everyone. I will not be taking any electronic's with me so I will update sometime Saturday when I get home.

Keeping your electronics unused is a smart decision to help ensure you put 100% concentration into walking, sipping, and sleeping.  Yes, this website is good...suggest gleaning all you can from the hospital staff, as well.  Remember to pack a pillow to hold against your abdomen for the ride home and get out to walk around the car if it's more than a half-hour drive.  Wishing you a smooth WLS.

Congratulations on your decision to have surgery.  Waiting and learning can only help you be successful. You will have the main TOOL and know how to use it.  Good Luck!
