Sounds like some extra rest might be needed the next few days to get caught up.

Weekend sounds so nice. On the plane with sunscreen and pool chemicals would be a bit uncomfortable and I know you were happy to get home to your shower.

Top of the Morning to you menuer's,

What a nice weekend. We did have some severe storms yesterday, but it past pretty quickly and our area was not as severe as some others around Pittsburgh. We were the fortunate ones. We never even lost power. I did the cycle event and Saturday, and I did cycle again on Sunday morning. Yesterday was Rudy's 2-year gottcha date so we celebrated him with doggie ice cream from Aldi and more treats that usual.

QOTD: I put a crockpot of corn beef potatoes and carrots on yesterday but ended up going out for Rubens, so I put it back on this morning and I am looking forward to it this evening. I paid$4.89lb for it and yesterday they went down to $2.99lb. I was thinking about buying a few more but not sure I like it that much plus got that cow last week.

Accountability: I had a very calorie laden Peanut Butter Espresso Martini as an appetizer before my Ruben.

Kelly, did you see Travis Barker ran a 22 minute 5k last weekend? I guess he got really into running while rehabbing from an accident.

Top of the morning, everyone!

We didn?t get in until 3:45 AM. The way the tennis nationals work is that there is a round robin play on Friday and Saturday and then the top four teams advance to the championship round on Sunday. So coming home early on Sunday is not an option, because if you qualify for the championship round, you don?t want to miss it. Between that, flying east and a 2 hour delay, it was a very late night.

I did sleep 3 hours on the plane and 3 more this morning, so I?m tired but functional. Marilyn?s team went 2-2 in the round robin, so they didn?t make it to the finals. But they had a great trip and we spent yesterday afternoon at the hot tub of the house they rented. So, not only home in the middle of the night but still covered in pool chemicals and sunscreen.

We stayed at the Arizona Biltmore which is one of my favorites. I wish the Thursday and Friday weather was as nice as Friday and Saturday. Also, I managed to do 25.3 at a CrossFit gym in North Scottsdale. It was tough, but I was happy with my score.

QOTD: yes

Breakfast: bagel

lunch: catered

dinner: corned beef and cabbage

Early to bed tonight!

Have a great day, all!
