Good afternoon everyone.
I had my follow-up appointment this morning and everything looked good in my eyes. One little spot showed a touch of inflammation but nothing that even warranted extra treatment. I don't have to go back for another year! Woot! Dealing with a headache that I always get with dilation of my eyes.
Other than that not a lot going on. I got mounjaro ordered and I'll pick it up tomorrow at the pharmacy. Still waiting for the CGM stuff to get going but they said it could be two weeks until I hear from the company.
QOTD: I about killed myself cooking. My SIL never helps to jack crap...no clean up no nothing. It aggravates us. When we were done with 99% of the clean she sauntered in and asked what she could supervise. It's uncanny. The lazy is strong with her AND my brother. The food was ok, our turkey was not great. It'll be the last time we get a Sam's meat product like that. It tasted good but was tough.
B: PP pancakes, cheese and coffee
L: turkey pot pie and about 6 Doritos
D: I think a couple of shrimp spring rolls.
we won't be having a Christmas tree inside. Ms.Tange has take care of that. She took running leaps at it...while comical it means not much in way of decoration inside.

Surprisingly I lost 5.5lbs from the last time I was there 6 months ago. That was a nice surprise especially since yesterday we had a birthday party for one of the granddaughters.

QOTD- I made minestrone soup for thanksgiving. It is really hard to make soup for one, so I have a couple of bowls left.
I worked half a day on Thanksgiving and didn't do much for the weekend. The highlight was the Ducks winning again, it never gets old. Next stop the Big 10 championship game on Saturday. And surprisingly the Seahawks won, it was an ugly game but it was a win. Not that they will go very far since they have to play the Arizona again, Green Bay, Minnesota, Bears in Chicago and the Rams.
It's cold here too started out at 25 and is now up to 28 which is still cold to me. Plus a stagnant air quality alert.
I was supposed to get paid on Friday but for some reason the direct deposit didn't show up until today. The company said they sent them out but it's odd that everyone regardless of banking institution didn't get their deposit. It's only money, my house payment doesn't come out for a couple of days so I'm OK.
I need to get back to work.

That is so wonderful that the estranged sons showed up. I have relatives that have done a disappearing act and while I understand that they need that space, I also never give up hope that they will be back someday.
