So nice to know they value you. That is a quality that is hard to find. Glad you stayed.

Good Morning Amy and Menuers,
I did get to see some of the Steeler game as well. I am so excited that the team is going into the bye week with a winning season. I am actually going to call it early and say we may even get to the payoffs this year. They are looking good. Today I have a doctor's appointment with my PCP. Not for any reason it is just a checkup and because we changed insurances again, I can go back to this primary after a year. I have to get set back up so if I need a script called in or something they will take care of me. I was supposed to do blood work, but I just did it in July, so I'll just have him look at those numbers. I am tired of paying for things I do not need. I know he is going to make me go get a colonoscopy. Not something I am looking forward to, but it is that time again.
QOTD: Hell no. I was at the gym with my cousin, and I said my birthday is coming up and I told her it is a milestone one. She said you don't act 60. I was hoping she would say You do not look 60 but she left it at that. Oh well I will still take it as a win.
Accountability: I baked cookies and may have licked a few bowls I should have stayed away from.

Good morning all and Happy Tuesday,
I'm currently addressing important items on multiple fronts. Most immediately, there's medical stuff like a big bone spur impinging on my right hip flexor tendon biopsy, and future related fun. First step: Bone Biopsy and a bunch of specialists. I'm also addressing my new car that was damaged on delivery. In addition, trying to take care of my old car where the insurance company, American Heartland, has not been making strides to resolve a 2 month old accident. Relationship issues. Financial issues at my club. The list is much longer.
B: Dannon Light and Fit Coconut Yogurt Tangerine.
L: Fairlife shake

I started to feel "old" when I was in my 50's. Working under a lot of pressure and the beginning of aches and pains. I took retirement at 62 and the next ten years were like being a teenager again. I was out everyday and every night with friends, took great vacations, and made sure everyday was fun. I am more tired now and tend to Google the various things on my body that hurt. I have to plan ahead and I take a lot more rest days now. Today I will have the house cleaned, tomorrow go to the senior center for an exercise class, and Friday get my hair cut and colored. No weekend plans yet, but will see what turns up.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Good morning, everybody!
Quick post today, I have to go to the doctor's for my last hepatitis vaccine. Can't remember whether it was A or B. I still have another week of malaria pills to take and then I am through with Tropical Disease management. In general, we over prepared for disease and biting insects but way underprepared for the heat. Live and learn.
This is my third Hepatitis shot and both of the previous attempts have been fails because they didn't have the order on record. So actually my fifth trip for Hepatitis vaccines. To add insult to injury I am classified as a "no show" at my last appointment. I have my email from my primary clarifying that this appointment has been ordered, so hopefully I am ready to go.
I misspoke yesterday. Today is the dish that Marilyn and my youngest are cooking. Yesterday was tacos, which will be today's lunch. They were good but crumbly
QOTD: I was thinking about this yesterday. I do feel like I have more trouble focusing and maintaining concentration on things. I wouldn't say I feel less smart, just that it is harder to stay engaged. Physically, I feel great. Of course I have to hold the menu three feet away from my face if I forget my readers.
Breakfast: Bagel
Lunch: Tacos
Dinner: Chicken Mandi
Have a great day, all!

Good Morning! I am having tacos for dinner, yum! I was able to have the meeting with the other owner yesterday and he's on board with my plan for the first pay on the acquisition being 12/7 and not during the time I'm off in November, phew! Not only am I glad it's going to work out, it is also nice that my ideas/thoughts matter.
QOTD: I seem to have always felt older than I am, mentally. Graduating early and getting married when all my other classmates were partying and starting college is one example. Now physically, not a clue what's going on there!

Good morning ~ Taco Tuesday, how you doin?? I'm sure looking forward to my tacos tonight! Yesterday was so damn long. I left work late enough to miss the rush hour traffic which was a nice surprise. I still got my steps in and watched the Dodgers win (3-0) and NFL w/a nice fire going. It was nice, relaxing and exactly what I needed. Today I have an early standing meeting then need to finish some reports because I have another long demo day tomorrow and I'm running out of time. Working for the weekend. Loving The Housemaid so far!
QOTD - Do you feel your age inside? What about outside?
Inside - These days I'd say I'm about 35 and she still wants to party and have fun. I'm too young to be old! Outside - is another story and she is killing my inner 35-year old's buzz. Physically, I feel my age (and then some). Things hurt, snap, crackle and pop and I'm tired! I'm moving all day just to get home to the recliner. I'm only 56, why aren't I out there going and doing things? Thanks to RNY I have my health, and I don't want to waste it sitting at home even though it's all I want to do lately. But, nothing changes if nothing changes. I want to be the best version of myself, so I will work on that - no regrets, right?
Accountability - Great on food, 65 active minutes, 10,231 steps. Today I'm 167.8, I have 30 minutes done on the treadmill and 20 minute weight workout planned after work.
B - coffee, cottage cheese and tomatoes
L - Ham and cheese on protein bread, lettuce, pickle
D - shredded chicken tacos on zero tortillas
s- semi frozen fairlife protein shake, apple
Have a wonderful day!

Thank you so much for the kind words and congratulations! I'm so excited to start this journey. I'll definitely check out the daily RNY menu thread. It's great to know there's a supportive community like that.
Thanks for the vote of confidence! I'm ready to dive in headfirst, but I might need a little push to get started. I'll let you know as soon as I have a date. In the meantime, I'll be practicing my cheering skills!
