Good morning, everybody!

Happy Fri-Yay!

I have a fairly full day at work, because we are headed out to San Diego on Tuesday morning. I don't want to put myself in a situation where I head out to vacation bringing work with me, so I'm going to try and be pretty effective today, get ahead over the weekend, and use Monday just to handle last minute mini-crises. I already have a call next Wednesday morning, but I asked for it to be first thing AM Chicago time so that I can knock it out before the day starts in California.

Other than that, Crossfit tonight and tomorrow. We are having a gymnastics mim-clinic at 11:00 on Saturday, which I will go to, I'm going to try and buy some football tickets, and I need to pack for Tuesday. It's supposed to be low 60's in San Diego, so i'm not sure if that is shorts or pants weather. Hmmm.

QOTD: 43, but a lot are in the Caribbean or Europe. There are still entire continents that i haven't visited. Also, i'm pretty good at knowing what is or isn't considered a country. How many of you remembered to count The Vatican as separate from Italy?

Pictures are from las Vegas (not a country)

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: Steak

Dinner: Chicken

Have a great day, all!

Good morning ~ Cute cookies! That candy heart is huge - very sweet! Work starts next week for you?! Wow time is flying. Verizon stresses me out and I'd be at PTSD levels with 4.5 hours and no new phone. The one by my work is a nightmare, but the one by my house is good if you go early. Anyway - best of luck to you! Great day at work yesterday, deadline met and solved all the problems. Today will be a breeze compared and then on to a lovely 3 day weekend! It could not be more welcome. Plans are to celebrate Valentines day with dinner out tomorrow night, BBQ on Sunday and chill on Monday. More rain coming this weekend and into next week. I'm loving the greenery, but we are pretty saturated.

QOTD - None, never! I've been all over the US, but never out of the country.

Accountability - great, 184.2 today. I haven't been reporting on exercise because there hasn't been much beyond dog walks and under desk elliptical - 30 min every day is the goal. I'm working on being more consistent.

B- coffee x 4, yogurt and berries

l - realgood burrito

d- carne asada tacos

s beef jerky

Good mornin y'all! Cute cookies! Sorry about the bad experience with the phone, I really hope it gets worked out today.

Not much planned for the day. I'll probably vacuum and clean the bathroom. My brother is coming over Sunday with the whole family. I've been slacking on chainmailling. My heart just wasn't in it. Good news is that I'm feeling the itch.

I'm dealing with hot flashes still. I had a piece of cheddar last night and boom...hot flash type thing. Not sure what's up with it. My blood sugars have been great lately with very very few above 175...fasting around 90. Another thing that needs to be figured out.

QOTD: just two, the us and Canada.

B: eggs, cheese 4 crackers and coffee x 2

L: not sure on this one

D: the salmon I meant to have yesterday

Good morning all.

You guys, it was hysterical watching JB on the phone all day yesterday. She was laughing, maniacally, most of the time. It would have been my worst nightmare. I hate dealing with crap like that. At one point I told her she should just go to court and change her name, it would be easier than dealing with the phone company.

I do laugh out loud every time I hear someone assert that "government should be run more like a business." No, it shouldn't. Because every business I've seen is run by idiots, and poorly so.

QOTD: 3 countries. It's not so much the visiting that's an issue. I'm just convinced they won't let me back into this one.

I saw a video of the stroopwaffle makers just a couple of days ago. It was pretty amazing how they can slice something that thin in two pieces. I'm a little jealous.

My poor colleague was really put on the spot yesterday, they asked what he showed me in Warsaw and were giving him grief. I had to step in and point out that I was the problem because I had too many conference calls to explore on Tuesday night.
