Thank the lord, the weekend is in view. I can't remember if I mentioned I decided to skip the Oktoberfest party Saturday so I can have a day to relax and pack and read and watch tv and lay on the couch. Sunday I have a jiu jitsu workshop a friend is leading and then a show at the Kennedy Center with an early dinner after with a friend from painting class. She is one of the strongest people I know...she's from the Philippines and she married an American, they had a son who has autism and is non verbal and huge and destructive and then her husband had an accident and had a brain injury. She somehow keeps her family going and works at the World Bank. She's also super creative and so kind and generous!

Q: Yep. Once that I know of and it was very hurtful. After that, I always told boyfriends, listen, don't cheat on me. You want to be with someone else, feel free. End it with me first.
Eats today - continuing on with leftover potbelly, some popcorn, and I have a bunch of diced onions so I think I'll make a can of tuna!
Have a wonderful Friday Eve!

That's what I was thinking. I figured it had to be my body because I was able to make good decisions. If it's head or emotional hunger, it's gonna be a bad decision.

Good morning! QJB you DID have the sleep idol. I wondered. It was a long night for me. But I've got fake coffee and spooky weather outside for a short bit and an easy day ahead. Bring it on.

Yesterday's accountability was dead on. All water, all day. All my food choices were good ones. No kettle corn. 55 minutes of exercise and 10,524 steps.

Today I am scheduled to go to the gym and do the weight circuit and of course hop on the treadmill for steps. I am not feeling it at all and am currently dressed for a rest day. However, Roger is leaving for golf in a couple hours and I reserve the right to get motivated and change my mind. Other than that, I might walk around Costco because I need beef jerky. I am trying to get through my book club reading. It's written very, very well, but the subject matter is infuriating. Know my Name. It's supposed to be really hot again this afternoon. That is supposed to be the pattern for the next 5 days. October weather, my least favorite of the year here.

QoTD: In high school yes.

Bites today

B: BLT bites again. so yummy.

L: TJ's precooked chicken breast and pop chips. Maybe a little sharp cheese.

D: pork chops with garlic honey and a little bit of sweet potato with butter

Peace!

***whimpering****. The strike will impact my kids business. As it will millions of families. I'm hoping for a fair resolution all the way around.

I firmly believe that some days are body are telling us to seriously fuel up for a reason. And if you make all good choices like you did, your body needed it. If it's a weekly or daily thing, I believe it's head hunger. But if it is very random, fuel your body.

You might be ok, they might have a route via the port of LA as well, give the perishability factor. If the west coast ports strike in solidarity though...

G'morning all!

Today I am attending a class new to me in the afternoon for election officers. I always volunteer to work at the polls, and every time, no matter how many years you have worked at the polls, you need to attend a 3-4 hr class as a refresher for the rules. But this year they want us to attend a special training to defuse situations and how to deal with angry voters. This is in addition to the rule class. I was surprised because simply if they are worried about angry people in our little blue bubble I wonder how people are doing in swing states.

QOTD: I started my dating life in Italy, and cheating is part of it and it's done on both sides. It's not a good feeling to always have to look over your shoulder and never trust the person you are with. I knew it when I was 13 that I would never marry an Italian simply because of the cheating culture. If I ever find the person I'm with has cheated on me there wouldn't be any more trust or respect, and whether I want it or not the relationship would crumble without trust and respect.

My meals yesterday:

  • Coffee
  • Keto quesadilla (it was a total fail)
  • L&F yogurt (pumpkin), hb egg
  • Protein Icecream - pumpkin ginger
  • E: 6 miles wog

Happy almost Fri-yay!

Most paper products are domestically produced so this is just another random panic. Bananas on the other hand, lol

QOTD- Yes and it was truly hurtful and made me doubt myself even more. It was an abusive relationship and I spent many years apologizing for his behavior and believing it was my fault. It wasn't.

This stinking cold is still hanging on, I just want it to go away. If I talk too much it gets me coughing and it just sucks.

Too much work and not enough time, I'm trying to get through it but it has been difficult. I'm trying to just take them one at a time and work through them and not worry too much. Easier said than done. But my boss asked me yesterday if I needed more work and I said no. We have a new boss and he hasn't figured this out yet, so as long as I can say no I will.

My smoke detector went off for no apparent reason this morning. It is loud, maybe the kitty litter dust?

Have a great day everyone!
