That sounds like a great apartment. Looking forward to hearing how it goes with getting all the details finalized and you can finally be at home.

Thank you for the recommendation, I've already bookmarked his site. I know I can't afford the local surgeon who did my sinus surgery even though he was awesome. Thankfully it met the insurance criteria and they paid for it. This might be a great alternative to local prices.

Love the drawing.

I got all the garden stuff put away this weekend and cleaned out some draws to organize stuff. Something I've been having to do for a while, but kept putting it off.

Good morning all and happy Monday,

It's a beautiful day in Chicagoland - the sun is shining and we've got that classic blustery 45°, crisp and fresh. I've got to say, I'm really happy to see that the clock finally turned over to a new month after a rough October - we made it!

Over the weekend I treated myself to something special: I went to an art/animation presentation featuring the artist who drew the characters from Bob's Burgers. It was incredible - only seven people showed up, so it was super intimate and personal. Even better, I got a custom drawing of myself and my dog. That's going straight up on the wall and already making me smile.

For accountability, here's my food plan:
- Friend accountability: three magic dessert bars
- Breakfast: Dannon Light & Fit yogurt
- Lunch: Premier protein shake, maybe some hummus and carrots, and a few ounces of chicken
- Dinner: BBQ pork chop with G Hughes sugar-free BBQ sauce

Let's stay focused, check in with each other, and reach for those little victories today. What's something you're proud of from the weekend or a goal you're setting for yourself this week? Wishing you all a strong, positive start to November!

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 208 lbs 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

Those pics are awesome!

not sure what's up for today. We might go out to the mall. We have a coupon for free stuff from bath and body works. I am wanting a perfume they have but not sure I can spend the money on it. We need to get some new faucet covers so Walmart or Lowe's might be visited today too.

i did manage to get a bracelet done this weekend. It's very pretty but I'm partial as it's my favorite weave, pic included at the bottom.

QOTD: whoa, don't get me started! I LOVE history. Pretty much any of it. I love pretty much any early American history to just about any American history. I love ancient Americas history too. Egyptian, any cultures of the Mediterranean, parts of Africa, medieval European history. Pacific island stuff. Japanese. I also like military history of the US. The slavery history here in the US. If we forget or ignore what happened it'll repeat again.

B: pita egg pocket, coffee

L: ???? Maybe a chimichanga

D: shrimp spring role

a squirrel in the food box(taken from my chair through a window and across the whole front yard), an ornament I made and the aforementioned bracelet.

Happy Monday Gang!! The Jack-0-Lantern event we went to on Friday was pretty neat. The history of the place was really interesting. I'm glad we went. Here's some pictures. The picture with the wooden ladder in the background is where the inmates climbed in and out of the mine. They were locked down there at night and during the day they had shackles on to do work around the prison grounds.

QOTD: What century of history do you find interesting? That's kind of a tough one because all of history fascinates me. For history in the US the 1700 and 1800's had a ton of world changing events. Outside of the US I find the Roman era and Egyptian Pharoah era rather interesting.

B: coffee and protein shake

L: chicken sausage and chili

D: beef fajitas

Have a great day everyone!!!

Good Morning Menuers !

Gosh that fresh homecanned plum juice sounds greeat Gemini !

I have a few black - leaved plum trees on the Long Island property - planted for their flowers and leaf color but they produce tiny ( like three grapes put together ) delicious little plums in huge abundance .

Wonder if I could put them thru the cider press de pitted of course ? They make fantastic sugar free jam as do my morello cherry trees. Neither has any pests or diseases.

Busy day planned today - applying for two apts 9am this morning ( pictured) and seeing another one at ten .

Been reaching out to un-advertising buildings w large terraces too .. with mixed results - one told me yesterday (via AI ! ) they couldnt give me a tour till Nov 30 lol!

After an incredibly windy night Halloween that literally shook the " roo" all nite it was gorgeous n warm yesterday and looks the same today . Feel guilty am not landscaping but housing comes first - its getting COLD.

b- Spanish food leftovers hopefully warmed up w fresh made Morton Williams chicken soup . I swear that great product alone keeps them in business !

l&d tbd but probably salads n Americanish buffet

late nite snack - bites of cold mashed potato , decaf coffee n ff milk sf ****tail .

The nite before I got ambitious for new flavor in that and made it w honey Croatian liquor - boy did I get sick !

Speaking of head hunger - its easing because of my having to throw out so much good unrefrigerated food .

Taking the Naltrexone / Buproprion combination in the morning helps a lot - I take 50 N and 150 B normally - 300 B when dressing 2 excercise . 600 mg B is the max recommended dose btw .

Embracing the nausea helps too - im shocked that sometimes when I COULD eat I physically dont want to !

Here R pics of the apartments I saw in this huge almost 1,000 ap****erfront complex . huge pluses - gas stove with mega burner - great for making Asian food - decent sized kitchens some with light finishes ( i hate black counters ! ) and Ok sized terraces some w views .

Problem - I cant use all my containers or furniture in storage - havta move to LI - expensive

! But this building gives 3 months free rent and $1800 towards moving expenses so not so bad . On street parking sucks though ( but experienced worse )

Oh and they have a sal****er pool and amazing amenities - if they commit to warming the water early in the morning like they do in my Parents Florida condo itll be actually usuable 4 m . I hate cold post RNY !
