Mel that's great on the weight loss.

At least you know the kids will be safe with you and your mom.

Good Morning Jennifer and Menuer's,

We took the lid off the pool and hooked up the pump and filled it but that is about it. We didn't start cleaning it or anything. Looks like temps are not going to be much higher than 75° till at least the end of the month and even with a heater I will not be going in it anytime soon. I went to a couple parties this weekend and I definitely had to many ****tails. So, I will say a phrase familiar to all of us. Diet starts today.

I got to hold this little chunk this weekend.

It makes me want to get another, but I know my limits.

Accountability: Way to may carbs

TSS: 7 years 5-months 8-days 169.4 Lowest (129.4)

B: Coffee with SF Coffee-Mate Chocolate Caramel creamer

MS: Premier Protein Lemon bar, pear

CB: Coffee with SF Coffee-Mate Chocolate Caramel creamer

L: Chicken, green beans, snack select

D: chicken thighs

Exercise: dog walking

Water and Vitamins: On track. I take a Bariatric Advantage Ultra multi w/iron I use bariatric advantage Calcium chews and 500mg of Magnesium. I also use MiraLAX and fiber in my first coffee of the day.

Have a great day my friends.

Brightest Blessings

Good mornin y'all.

Last week was a rough one for me. Emotionally it was rough. BUT it's a new week so hopefully it'll be better.

Today we'll have to pick up the kids and take em home. It's the last week of school here. We'll be having the kids a lot this summer. There is some stuff going on that's really bothersome. We may end up with the kids living here for a few months. We'll see. There is just so much stuff going on. My shoulder is horrible and it's starting to hurt my upper back A LOT. I think some of it is stress related because I know it doesn't help! Good news is that I am eating a lot better and have dropped almost 20 pounds in two months or so...maybe three. I am proud of myself for that. My blood sugars are doing better too. I am counting everything that goes in my mouth. I did have a donut this morning out of just wanting one. It was a sour cream one and it was worth it. 320 calories but I counted it and will work it out to be ok.

we're about to head out to Sam's. Then I need to pick up a prescription...maybe two.

Have a great day y'all!

B: sour cream donut and coffee

L: I'm thinking a PP shake and maybe a bagel thin with an egg and Canadian bacon.p and cheese

D: hmmmm. Probably an egg and a low carb tortilla and Parmesan cheese

Good morning, everybody!

Back to reality! I'm in the office for a couple of early calls. We got home late last night, so I'm going to be tired today. But I will make it through and tonight will just be TV and rest.

We had a great time: boat ride, Padres game with Lisa and Roger, visiting the Pandas at the San Diego zoo, (Panda pictures on Friday) , great restaurants and wine tasting.

One thing that we missed was that when we were at the ballpark, the Navy Seals were out training on the beach by our hotel. We will have to see them next time.

I felt like my clothes were hanging on me a bit but I was 209 this morning, so just where I was before.

Breakfast: toast

Lunch: catered

Dinner: tenderloin

Have a great day, all!

Sorry you did not get your goat but sounds like weekend was great. We have been having nice sunny days but it is going back to 50s on Wednesday. The sunshine was great last week. Summer is on its way and I can't wait.

Good Morning gang. I had a very productive weekend. We got hay, cleaned out all my outside planting pots and weeded out my garlic. We didn't get the Billy goat because someone went and bought both of them which makes me think they are going to be used for food. :( People don't normally buy two Billy goats of the same lines for breeding.

I have a ton of stuff to do today at work to get ready for the next few days and the other person who has a company CC decided to take today off so I have her work to do also which means I have to run to Home Depot for stuff they need for tomorrow's clean sweep event.

QOTD: I'll have to think of something and swing back after I go run the errands.

B: coffee and 2 scrambled eggs

L: 2 crab cakes

D: baby back ribs and tomato/cucumber/red onion salad

30 minutes on the treadmill and 10 minutes on the vibration platform

Have a great day everyone!!!

QOTD- I would own a horse again. I miss my boy.

I've been MIA I broke my wrist on 4/27 had it operated on 5/2 and now I'm trying to get back to normal. Of course it was my right wrist and I am totally right handed. What a nightmare. I've applied for Paid Leave Oregon, I pay into it every week so I figured I might as well try to get some money since I've missed the last 2 paychecks. I fell down the stairs, stairs a dangerous.

I hope everyone is doing well! Have a great day everyone!

  • Years ago there was a cult who had a place in West Virginia they called the Palace of Gold. They only ate vegetables but kept a cow for milk and butter. The cow was always decorated with flowers. It was their sacred cow and very pampered. They also had an elephant and people took rides on it.

I can't remember if there was a camel. If you joined you had to give them all your assets and they shared everything. They collected money by asking for donations at airports. They served food there but my husband was afraid to try it. It seemed like a peaceful quiet life but there was corrupt people running it and it all fell apart after a few years. I thought the pet cow was cute.
