Topic: What's on your Tuesday Menu?

Happy Tuesday Gang!! The heat and humidity came back yesterday and is supposed to be around until Thursday. While it makes things difficult to get done unless you get up early before the sun really gets up in the sky I would still prefer this than the cold, snow, and ice.

I'm in the scale house three days this week and next week then back to two days a week. The person who is out had her leave extended until the end of August. I personally could careless as I get 6% pay increase for the days, I'm out here but she is definitely ******g other people off since now four people have seen her out riding her new trike when she was telling people before she went out that she wouldn't be able to lift or do much of anything.

QOTD: Have you ever been in charge of dealing with someone in your workplace who isn't doing their job? Ironically as of July 1st all Operation Specialists are now responsible for the scale personnel at their respected faculties and how they are performing at their job. Each month I will have to do an unannounced audit in the scale to watch and see if she is doing her job correctly. If she is keeping the scale house, around the scale house, resident dumpsters and front gate clean. I know she's not going to be happy about it, but I have the email from corporate to back me up.

B: coffee and breakfast wrap

L: chili with pork shoulder cut up

D: grilled chicken and kale salad

No Y tonight I have some things that I need to get done at the house.

Have a great day everyone!!!

No, not really. She does a slight bit at first then she just tries to get away. It's really weighing heavily on us.

Six months is a long time for a trip, but I would pick the Americas. I have been to South America and it is beautiful with a lot to explore. I am eating a lot of fresh corn on the cob. It will be good here for about another month.

Broken teeth are normal for me every year or two. The dentist can fix them so they look like new.

Good morning, everybody!

We had a good weekend in Florida: rode bikes, swam, fished. I took the 6:40 flight into Chicago and was almost in time for my 9:00 meeting this morning.

The worse news is that I think I broke a tooth. I will need to call the dentist and set up an appointment. In the meantime, I am chewing on one side of my mouth and trying to be careful about it.

Marilyn stayed down there because we are getting a storm door installed this week. She will be back on Wednesday night.

QOTD: Write in vote for Asia.

Breakfast: protein bar

Lunch: catered

Dinner: something soft.

Have a great day, all!

Good Monday mornin y'all.

today all I have to do is pick up a prescription and we have the kids all day. Riley stayed the night last night. Randall might tonight or sometime this week. Our franky is not doing so good. If he doesn't improve in the next two days I fear it's time to call the vet. I'm really sad. He's the most difficult dog we've ever had. Collars won't stay on him, he is always highly tense and anxious. Weighs about 100 lbs. BUT I love him a lot :(

QOTD: americas.

B: eggs, turkey sausage and cheese...of course coffee.

L: prob a chimichanga

D: ????

this ass hole attacked Tange Saturday pretty badly...right after taking this photo.

Ah the start of another week. The weekend was pretty lowkey. We went to Lowe's on Saturday and got the materials to make the two nest boxes for the rabbits. Then we did a little grocery shopping. I scored 10lbs of beef from someone on FB who was moving and needed to clear out their freezer. That got all ground up for Meisha.

Then I did some meal prepping and made chili con carne and pork shoulder along with roasted chickens to make chicken salad.

QOTD: Would you rather do a six-month road trip through Europe or a six-month road trip through the Americas? I would have to say Europe even though some places in South America would be interesting visit.

B: coffee and kielbasa and eggs

L: chili with cheese

D: pork shoulder with yellow beans

Weight machines and swimming at the Y.

Have a great day everyone!!!

QOTD: there is a Belmond train that runs through Peru, and if you are not kidnapped by Shining Path Guerrillas, it sounds lovely.
