My CPAP has really improved my sleep and wakefulness during the day so much. It's really made a difference. But, I wake up about four times a night and have to drink water because my mouth is so dry my teeth are stuck to my lips and my tongue to the roof of my mouth. Has anyone else dealt with this? I use distilled water, of course, in my machine, but this still happens. Donna

So you do have the humidier attached? I found that this helped me. I no longer use it, though, and I'm fine. Dryness could also be because your mouth is opening. Some people use a chin-strap to stop this. But I found that after about 2 weeks, I adjusted, and my mouth was staying closed on its own (I think!). ~~ Leslie

Yep had similar problem at first. Wife was nice enough to stay awake and watch me and sure enough.... mouth was wide open . I then got a chin strap used it for about two weeks and after that I never have needed it again . just somthing i guess you have to train your self to do. goodluck
