broke 4 week stall, just by listening to old-timers--down 2 lbs per day for last 4 days

I upped my protein to over 100 grams per day (from the 60 grams I was doing, but stalling on).  It works--unbelievable.  I am 4 months out now.  But try it, for me there is something magic in that formula.  To get all that in, I have to do a fortified protein drink in the morning to start me off with 51 grams right away, then it is meat, fish, eggs, cheese, the rest of the day.  I am alovin my sleeve!   And thank you thank you thankyou, oldtimers---you have the keys to the kingdom, we just have to learn how to listen to you!!

That is great, and glad you broke your stall.  It seems like an alful lot of protein.  I doubt I am getting that much in at 6months....maybe that is my problem.  I will have to talk with my Nut at my Friday appointment.  congrats on breaking the stall.

Actually I am getting ready to start that also.  I have 42 lbs to go and in the last 2 months I have only lost 6 lbs and I am getting very frustrated.  So I am upping my protein also to see if that will help.  I can't do milk based shakes though.  They do not like my stomach.  Will make a trip to GNC!!!

Thanks for your positive feedback.

Melissa-- I use the GNC brand of powder called "Soy Protein 95" and have mixed it with unsweetened soy or almond milk. Works great and has 25mg soy protein per scoop. :)

I had a somewhat similar problem - I was only losing a tiny bit. Once I started doing 90g+ daily, I started losing almost a pound a day again.

WOW!! I am so going to try this also! I loathe protein drinks, and I'm not getting nearly 100 grams a day. I am praying the new strawberry Premiere RTD is palatable!! Can't wait for my free sample!

Are you saying you are only consuming protein?  No carbs or other nutrients?  Just wondering if that is healthy..?  I would love to increase my protien but can't find a liquid protein supplement that I like.
