How long out before you had coffee again?

I would love to try a small protein coffee. How long out were you before you drank coffee again?

I could have decaf coffee whenI got home.. Not that I wanted any.. But, I had some yesterday and to me, it is just not the same.. I can drink milk.. I have always had cafe lattes from starbucks this time decaf and ff milk..

I have 1/2 caff in the cabinet. Maybe I will try it today then!!
I will put a scoop of vanilla protein powder in it and maybe it will taste like a vanilla latte, hmmmm...

You can have coffe right away as long as it is decaf. They served it to me in the hosipital after surgery.

I had my sleeve done on 05/13 and I'm drinking coffee right now. I had those protein coffees about 3-4 weeks ago! I would just sip a little of it and see how it goes first because you know everyone is different! Hope this helps! Take care!!

I think it was somewhere around 1 month out when I had a cup of real coffee.

My surgeon said I could switch back to real coffee (vs decaf) when I could get all my 64 oz of fluids in daily. It took me about a month or so to do that.

after ice, decaf coffee was the first thing I had post-op...my only wish was that the hospital would have had community dark roast....the designer mess they had wasn't that great....

I was cleared for any coffee right away. I usually do decaff but occasionally regular if I need to get the bowels moving- sorry TMI, but true! Decaff I count toward my daily fluids.
