Would you?
Clearly different issue if this is a new person not someone that you were already dating.
If a new person, I would think that we may have lifestyle compatibility issues. At this stage (14 months), I am still finding new ways to entertain myself and cope with stress without food. I'm also more interested in developing non-food related hobbies. People who have WLS often gain it back if they don't adopt a different lifestyle. At this stage, I would be concerned with my own weakness and fear of turning back to the lifestyle that harmed me so much in the first place.
I would befriend an obese person, but I would probably have an aspect of my life that is different and incompatible with their lifestyle. That depends on their activity level. There is a certain level of incompatibility that prevents growth in a relationship beyond a certain point.

I would. My husband is obese, and I don't care :) I've always dated heavier guys because I've always been a heavy gal and felt more comfortable around them.
