Trader Joe's

Hi gang!

So I am not lucky to have a Trader Joe's near me...BUT...I decided to take a few days out of work to hang out with the family and do day trips. Today brought us by a Trader Joe's and I was so excited! But when I got there...I had no idea what was good to check out!! I was going to text a few of you when I was in the store, but my time was limited.

So I bought Kale chips and Nitrite free buffalo Jerky, both Trader Joe brand. ( I was hoping to find the ostrich jerky, but no such luck). Haven't tasted anything yet.

What do you guys buy when you go there?

Egg white salad is the BEST

I get their pre-marinated chicken - sun dried tomato and curry chicken

mini whole wheat pitas

Spicy spinach pizzas

My favorite is their chocolate covered raisens but im sure you werent looking for that :-p

I LOVE LOVE LOVE the egg white salad! I can't wait until I can have it again!

I spent last week eating their Pesto Genovese marinated chicken. Morning, noon and night, but it was good.

I love the teriyaki turkey jerky.

Before surgery it included other "stuff", but that's out of the question now...and happily so.

I love Trader Joes and pretty much want to marry it.

 

I like the turkey meatballs in the freezer section and the grilled chicken cacciatore in the prepared section.  I froze the chicken and it reheated very well.

Turkey meatballs are AWESOME! We eat them often :)

I love their reduced-guilt guacamole (made with Greek yogurt), their spanakopita, sea weed snacks, taboule, the entire selection of nuts, minestrone soup, and their everyday seasoning.

When I go, I buy:

• Turkey jerky
• Chicken sausages (the garlic herb one is really delicious!  also has 17g protein per link)
• the individually packed almonds (they're like snack packs)

I'm told their greek yogurt is good too but I am not a fan of yogurt of any sort.
