Hi,

I can understand your frustration. I was pacing by the phone when I was waiting for my surgery date.  Then I finally got a call, and they had a cancelation and I was in surgery in about 3 weeks.  I was thrilled.

Do you think the doctor's office might take vacations at the end of summer?  Perhaps that's why they didn't call back.  I hope it moves forward soon.

The tests that the doctors order can vary a lot.    Its not unusual to have a cardiogram to make sure the heart is functioning well,  and a look at the upper digestive system. (I don't remember the names of the procedures.)  Plus a test for sleep apnea is common.  But it varies with different doctors and different patients.

best of luck in your weight loss journey.

Carol

I started my journey in 2010 and finally had surgery 4/2012. Seems like it took forever and now I am 15 months post op. It will happen just keep the faith.
