Spelunking NSV :)

This journey is so amazing sometimes... I had an NSV last weekend and didn't realize it!

I went to Mammoth Cave in Kentucky last weekend to meet up with my new BOYFRIEND, Nate. (If you've followed my posts, you'll know that I've been doing the eHarmony thing for a few months now and I've met an awesome guy... I just needed to say that "out loud"... Sorry, not sorry ) The cave tour that we took included over 500 stairs. Going in, I was pretty nervous about that sort of physical exertion (especially in front of my man crush!), but I didn't have ANY trouble AT ALL. I didn't even get winded! Granted, the majority of the steps went down, but I didn't really even get shaky "jelly legs" like I'd expected. At one point, there was an optional climb up of over 50 stairs in one go... I almost avoided that section, but when Nate suggested we check it out, I sucked it up and did it and it barely even fazed me! Honestly, he was more winded that I was! On top of all of the stairs, I managed a bunch of really tight squeezes without scraping up against the wet cave walls (something that I had also been nervous about embarrassing myself with).

This healthy life has started to feel so routine and normal over the last few months that I am just now realizing what an accomplishment Saturday was!

I love my sleeve!!
