Yes.  The protein powder gives it plenty of flavor.  Try freezing ir a bit.

I got behind on everything today as I got up a little late and had to rush off to pilates, forgetting my vites. Then didn't get home from errands until just past noon. So . . .

B: Chocolate Premier shake

L: 2oz grilled chicken tenders, 2oz tuna fish salad, 1T tzatziki

S: Small tomato, 2" chopped cucumber, basil from my garden, bit of malabar spinach, also from my garden, and 1T balsamic vinagrette

D: 3oz chilean sea bass, 4 brussels sprouts

S: 4oz cottage cheese, 2oz diced peaches

I've been in stall for the last ten days, and although it may just have broken today (I was suddenly 1.2 pounds lower this morning, below my stall point), I spoke with my nutritionist about it. I had sent her my food log a couple days ago. Her advice was:

  • Don't worry, it's a stall not a plateau, and it's common.
  • Try to incorporate more colorful vegetables into your diet by adding two more mini veggie meals a day.
  • Eat every 2-3 hours.
  • Play with my workouts, adding weight-bearing exercises beyond the pilates, and switching it up with things like biking, etc.
  • Keep within the 600-800 calorie goal.

So, I'll try this. I've been frustrated about veggies, because it's really hard to fit them into the 3 meals a day thing when you're also giving priority to 80-100g of protein a day--it's just difficult to eat more than that. But the mini-meal vegetable snacks are definitely something I can do, as veggies don't trigger the pyloric valve, and once the protein from the meal two hours previous is released, it's easy to stick the veggies in there.

Exercise: Pilates, done; will walk the girls this evening

W: Doing well, almost to 48 oz

Vites: May not make all the calcium today, but will get in everything else.
