I tried that with my hubby (who at 5' really can't afford the few pounds he put on since he married me) but all that did was make me waste the cost of his gym membership!! I think he went twice. At my new gym I didn't bother getting him to join. What works best for us has been walking together at night. Not as strenuous but at least we get to do something enjoyable together.
I'm with you though on how funny it is to be the one pushing exercise. Prior to surgery who woulda thunk it? LOL

HIs add on only cost $12 so if he doesn't go too often it won't bite that bad. I do think he will go on saturdays' because it's a brand new gym with loads of gadges. Each treadmill has it's own tv and he can watch the college football and listen to his ipod while it charges!
(Is it wrong for me to divulge that his cut off sweats were so baggy at the crotch his thigh skin rubbed together and he was red raw. )
Again, I'm the overweight one, not him! That's what he gets for trying to show off with his 15% incline!
