My Mom is going to be 80 in a couple of weeks and she cut and colored her own hair!  I could have died when I saw it.  I took her today to get it permed and cut.  We were hoping the perm would strip some of the color out and the cut would take care of the rest.  It looks pretty good now.  DD is going to color it for her in a few days.  We are having a Surprise Open House for her birthday so thank goodness she did it now instead of the night before.

Sounds good!

B: Cytosport powder from Costco mixed with 8 oz. skim raw milk, 35g

L: Premier ready made, also from Costco, 30g.

D: decided on Trader Joe's organic roasted red pepper and tomato soup instead of a shake. DH & DS had homemade flatout flatbread BBQ chicken pizza for dinner, and the smell just made me want something that wasn't sweet.

Oh, miles? I walked for about 30 minutes total today. Looking forward to getting some strength back.

Hi Roz,
Glad you got your Mom fixed up!!  We gave my Mom a surprise 80th birthday party a couple of years ago and she really enjoyed it.

DD had to call the doctor back this afternoon.  The pain started back(she stopped taking the pain pills).  He sent her two more antibiotics and told her to take the pain pills and muscle relaxer as she needed them.  I hope they can get this figured out- this is the second time she has had this in 6 months and it seems to puzzle everyone.

DH and I went and visited all our patients today.  It was a really good morning and afternoon.  One of my little ladies passed away last week.  She was so sweet.

B:  Protein Decaf Coffee
S:  Decaf Coffee
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
L:  2 Lite Hot Dogs, Chili, Cheese & Slaw(no bun)
S:  Lemon Tea Protein Drink
S:  Flourless Peanut Butter Cookie-YUMMY!!
D:  Chili - I made a big pot today so this will probably be my eats for next week.
S:  Chocolate Truffle Protein Drink

Vitamins:  Done
Water/Fluids:  100 ozs.
Miles:  None

Here is the site I got the flourless peanut butter cookies from.  I used splenda instead of sugar and brown sugar splenda instead of brown sugar.  I didn't have chocolate chips so I grated up a unsweetened dark chocolate baking square.  Oh my gosh - they are so good.  Maybe I'll get another one if DH doesn't eat them all.
