Linda - the countertops that are on the existing side are only about 3 years old.  It's a WilsonArt HD product.  Initially we didn't really like the color, but with the new wall color they don't look so bad - but I don't have countertops on the other side yet - it's just plywood...

I want to get granite - eventually - someday - lol.

Kitchen was the first major, bathroom is the next.  I also have someone bidding some painting work for the family room.  I don't have a "before" pic of that room, but it's peach and green - I call it the tropical room.

I also am having an outdoor 12x16' shed built next to the house - this week.

We also have painted the entire house (almost) and put new tile down in the kitchen.  The 2 bedrooms had carpet pulled up and the hardwood floors sanded/sealed.  I don't think I have a "before" pic of that room either... shame on me!  The wall color is Aqua Smoke - I LOVE it and have had SO many compliments on it.  We're also putting down all new baseboards and crown moulding.

I'm also getting a bid on putting a front porch on the house - that won't be this year... but I'm curious as to what I'll need to plan for.

Quite the money drain - so the bath will be waiting until I have money, and I really don't know what I want to do with it yet anyway.

Wow Jody, that is a lot of renovating.  We just renovated our small bathroom.  I used lots of my credit card points for Lowe's gift cards and that helped a lot, but it was still close to $4500.  We want to do our other bath and even though it is larger he said it wouldn't cost nearly as much because the shower is over the tub and is not floor to ceiling.

I love hardwood floors, we did lamenent(?) because it was easier on a cement slab.  I like them because of Willie.

I bet it is looking good.  I love crown mouding.  It adds so much to a room.

I have quite a few points racked up on one of my credit cards, but their reward syste doesn't have gift cards - just merchandise - otherwise that would be a great idea!!

Yea - I want new tile in the bathroom... I got one estimate for $4000 just for the tile work - I said no.  Rethink the bath tile job... we'll see... I want it done right.  I've had to compromise already on a few other things... so we'll see.

I still didn't get the "drag and drop" to work, but was able to copy/paste them from Photobucket.  Not sure if they're showing up...
