Good morning. Vitamin Roll Call

How are you doing taking your vitamins during the holiday rush?  It can get crazy--are you making time to get your vitamins and protein in?

Sound off!

Here! Doing ok. Trying to separate more individual things I was low on on my last labs...copper and zinc are having a battle for my limited absorption attention. I'm taking copper 3 times a day and at least separate from everything else once a day. Zinc I just started taking it separate from everything else once a day. We'll see if separating is better than piling on more doses in the zinc department.

I did real good but one day, at about 8PM, I realized I had not taken any of them. I still got them in trying to space them out over 6 hours.

I've done good over the holiday but am "nothing to eat or drink after midnight" this morning because I get my 2nd eye done today.  I'd love my protein coffee right now but will wait until this afternoon and try to play catchup.  I have been taking my iron/C in the middle of the night to keep them away from everything and that seems to be going ok.  We'll see when I get labs done.

I only work 2-3 days a week but those are 12 hours shifts.  Well sometimes I forget to take my vites with me and then when I get home there just is not enough time to take them all.  I have been good this week though.

I usually do pretty good, but last week when we were at Disney I forgot my nighttime multi every night.  When I thought of them I was too tired to go back downstairs and take them...

Since I've been back home, I've done good.  I do much better when I'm at work and on my schedule.

Yep - doing good.  I have double vitamins - a batch here and a batch there.  Makes it so much easier than trying to remember to cart them back and forth  Now - here they're sitting on the table - there they're hiding in a cupboard... so I need a reminder every now and then.

I have them all in chewable or sublingual form now.  Except for the prescription ones.

I set up vitamins and meds for DH & I in a weekly pill box. I dump into a medicine cup the morning stuff, and the afternoon stuff into a small Tupperware container (I used to sell the stuff, have lots). We pack these with our lunch for work. However, weekends tend to be a challenge as we get off our routine.

Yep, settled into a routine of 7 batches a day (was aiming for more but it wasn't realistic as I'd forget and then things would slip).  Big batches @ breakfast, lunch and dinner, zinc mid-morning and mid-afternoon.  Iron with copper and vit C at bedtime plus a more iron and vit C when I used the bathroom during the night.

Protein's normally comfortably over 100g.
