Good Morning. Lord help me not to be a monotone today

Today's the day I have to stand up in front of 40 people and talk about stuff I know about. I know my stuff but getting it out of my mouth and delivered in a way that doesn't put people to sleep is another thing all together.  Swing some lizards for me the next 2 days, please.

Wishing everyone strong willpower to avoid the holiday treats. We can do this!

Heres to a great presentation.  Knowing your stuff is the big part, now just deliver it like you are reading it from a storybook.

We have our annual Storybook Farm Christmas Party and dinner tonight.  Other than the ham and chicken, I'm sure everything will be loaded with sugar, fat and sauces.  Oh well.  I will do fine and tomorrow is another day.

You will do great!

I did some girly week, hormone induced baking and went a little over board with the carbs.  I have now found that I don't tolerate gluten (gas).  Been off for two days and the gas is way down.

Take a picture (or use a cell phone pic) of something that makes you smile so you can occasionally look at something other than all those faces that can drain you.

I have a TOPS weigh in tonight. We're having our Christmas party potluck and white elephant. Most of the food should be fairly safe. I'm really looking forward to it. I'm making dessert.

All the best Gina - I'm sending positive vibes your way.

Yes, I'm getting really hungry at the mo.  It was 23°F today and the heating in our office was broken!!   If wheat didn't give me such awful gas there'd be no stopping me - I guess we have to be grateful for small mercies no matter how paradoxical they may seem on occasion.
