Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my #1 reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!   WARNING TO SELF AND TO ANYONE WHO WILL LISTEN!!!   AVOID 'BAD' CARBS AT ALL COSTS!!!  THEY ARE ADDICTING!!  THEY WILL SLOW DOWN YOUR WEIGHT LOSS DURING THE LOSING STAGE (and you won't even notice)!!  THEY WILL MAKE THE SCALE GO UP AFTER THE HONEYMOON PERIOD IS OVER.

Success in Maintenance starts with good choices during the Honeymoon Period!!!!!

Good Morning!!!!!! Has everyone survived? How about our New LW's....was it a struggle making good food chooses?  I am up a couple of pounds which years ago would have led to dieting but now I know that as soon as I get back on my every day routine of basing my meals on protein and low carb it will come off. I don't think of this as dieting. It is my normal way of eating now. I feel healthier and not deprived like dieting makes you feel.

Hi Roz,

I don't think of it as dieting either.  It is now my way of eating.  I talked to my PA yesterday when having my annual check up and she is a tiny thing.  She said she could gain 5 pounds over a weekend and she said it is just something she has to watch also.  I think we are now normal people jus****ching what we eat!!  We get off track and get back on.

I was down yesterday, back up today.  I did have a brief "why bother" thought that I wiped out quickly as I went to the garden to get my kale for breakfast.  It is easier when it is just a day or two of "off" eating.  This extended time of "holidays" when I have DS home and am cooking larger meals all the time is hard.  Then add to that a few days of eating out and no exercise and wham.  But it will all be over soon enough.

decaf protein coffee  33g
kale, eggbeaters, cheese
hot chocolate protein 25g
2 fish filets
caribean cooler protein 13g
cheese stick, orange
dinner out for our 40th anniversary
protein shake (but I probably won't have room)

At this point, i would be happy if I could just get back to the gym but I don't think sweating would be positive for my shingles.

I've decided shapewear is a Godsend instead of the binder they sent me home with and my belly isn't arguing about food as bad today although I'm tired and left work early and came home to sleep for a few hours this afternoon.

B- Celebrate ENS shake

L- one slice of a personal pizza at Subway not the best choice but it didn't hurt grouchy pouch so I'll take it

D- ham and cheese roll ups

Water - 84 oz and still drinking
